Data Enrichment

Adding extra fields or context to existing records, usually by combining a dataset with another source.

Data enrichment takes a base dataset and adds value by appending additional fields from another source -- firmographic detail to a lead list, category tags to a product catalog, or review counts to a business directory. It turns a thin dataset into a more useful one without starting over.

Example

Enriching a raw list of business names and addresses with category, phone, and review count turns a bare lead list into a usable Local Business Dataset.
